Part-time Kitchen Positions

published on 8/2/2017

We are:
The Alton L. Collins Retreat Center, and we create sacred space for the mind, body and soul.
We do this by caring for people’s physical needs for food, safety, and care so that they can do the learning or healing they have come for.
Find us on Highway 211 between Eagle Creek and Sandy along Deep Creek.

Positions:
--Dishwashers: ablity to take direction and learn routines; be physically fit; willingness to work split shifts a plus; no experience required. Come help make our kitchen beautiful again!
--Kitchen Assistants: ablity to listen and follow direction; knife skills and prior kitchen experience are a plus. Come help us prepare beautiful and tasty food!
--Cooks: 2 years professional experience desired; ablity to follow menus; ability to direct other kitchen staff with competence, clarity and kindness; ability to explain the meal to the guests, willingness to learn from our Executive Chef.  Come help lead our team!

We are looking for:
-- Positive and capable people to help provide healthy meals made from scratch to our guests.
-- Ability to communicate with kindness and clarity
-- Willingness to be both a self-starter and be part of a team
-- Attention to detail as we serve many people with specialized diets.

We are looking for people who value hospitality as highly as we do.
Our work to invite guests in and provide the most hospitible environment that we can to help our guests do the transformative work they have come to do.
If this sounds good to you too, we want you to apply!

We are offering:
Part-time work on average 20 hours a week, morning and evening shifts are available.
