Volunteering, Training, and Working at Camp

February 09, 2016

Are you feeling nudged to work at camp as paid or volunteer staff? Opportunities always abound to be a part of a dynamic, inspired, and hardworking team.

Program Training

Camp Latgawa, Camp Magruder, and Suttle Lake Camp will be utilizing a largely shared group of paid and volunteer counselors that will rotate to each of the site's classic camp weeks. A training for this group and others interested in participating in the program at all three camps will occur April 8-10 at Camp Magruder.

Jobs at Camp

All camps are hiring for positions during the 2016 Summer Season: Working at camp is a unique opportunity that allows you to serve others while growing in your personal faith, learning life and leadership skills, and making new friends in a beautiful outdoor setting.  The full season for the five sites that offer summer programming runs roughly from mid-June through mid-August with additional employment available after this date for qualified staff members. For more information, please contact contact the director of the site you wish to work for.

Volunteering

All of the ministry sites rely heavily on volunteers to complete their mission on many fronts, from splitting wood to washing dishes to making curtains to building decks. Again, contact the director to determine where your availability, skills, and the site's needs all intersect.

Work Parties

Latgawa, Suttle Lake, and Sawtooth each have spring events where you can spend a weekend doing indoor and outdoor labor, and having amazing fellowship!
