A child’s introduction to solo overnight camping at Magruder. Young campers ease themselves into camp life by staying just three nights, getting a good taste of camp life under the guidance of their first counselors.

Our trained counselors accompany mini campers through Magruder favorites like swimming, boating, and camp fires with an earlier bedtime to keep them full of energy the next day. Young campers will have a blast playing and learning the early lessons of camp friendships with energetic mentors helping them fall in love with camp life.

Check in at Camp Magruder will be 3-4pm on Sunday afternoon.   If you are unable to arrive by 5pm, please contact the Camp Magruder office at 503-355-2310.   Camp will conclude at the registration field on Wednesday at 10am after a closing program.
