Oregon-Idaho's Camp & Retreat Ministries together with the Southeast Portland Parish of the United Methodist Church are sponsoring this course. The instructor, the Rev. Todd Bartlett, has worked with Non-Violent Communication (NVC) for severn years. This course explores a form of communication involving listening to yourself and others to gain insight and deepen conversations and connections. The church often talks about our need to love others and yet rarely provides us with the tools to do so. Participants will be guided on giving and receiving unconditional love.

The six online sessions will include sharing of the material by Todd, followed by practicing the elements of communication to develop and increase our capacity for compassion, and to learn how to love our neighbors as ourselves.

There is no fee for this online course. Participation is limited to 24.
